How to Ferry
- a beginner's guide -
Have you taken the hour-long ferry out to Bremerton yet? If not, don't worry - it's surprisingly easy. If possible, we recommend walking on. cogean? is a twelve minute walk once you arrive in Bremerton. (Or catch a taxi or the #24 bus from just outside the terminal.)
ACCESSIBILITY cogean? is a twelve minute walk from the ferry with a slow incline (approximately 39 feet). If you would like to catch the post-ferry bus ($2), hop on the #24 waiting right outside the Ferry Terminal and tell the driver you'd like to get off at 9th and Pacific. Walk one block west and you have arrived at cogean? If you want to catch the bus, we recommend departing the ferry quickly. The buses won't wait for the last passenger - they just depart soon after the majority of passengers have disembarked. The entrance to cogean? has 2 steps up. If you catch the 4:15pm from Seattle, you should arrive at cogean? around 5:30pm. If you catch the 5:30pm from Seattle, you should arrive at cogean? around 6:45pm. If you catch the 6:45pm from Seattle, you should arrive cogean? around 8pm. (Return ferries to Seattle depart Bremerton at 7:55pm, 9pm, 11:40pm) Coming out on a Saturday? Event times can vary.
